301 Question

:confused: I got a 301 as a gift and love the knife but the center pin sticks out about 1-2mm and you can feel the lip snag stuff.

Can I tap that in or should I send it back. Also, the back spring seems very weak. My older 303 and other stockmans snap closed better.
 
Read the sticky at the page top first. Yes, by all means send it in when they are ready. Also send a letter explaining the problem and tell them that it was a gift so they will be sure to fix rather than replace.
BTW, have you considered the Buck Collectors Club??. take care, guy
