A 305 Lancer from 2010 in gray Dymondwood. The Lancer is a fun one to collect and I have a bunch of them but is too small to ever be a "user" for me. It's lost in my big 3XL hand.

My hands are a smaller medium just like my dad and grandfather so I love them as a user, but most of all they are absolutely fun to collect and not that hard.

For me it's been a little easier too, because I'm only really interested in the post '85 examples .
Originally I also wasn't going to collect one of each generation, but I just now realized there are only 3 other generations of in house 305 that I need so I just may go for them after all.
An 80's single spring, early 90's, and a late 90's with the blade grinds seen on my '98 brown bone.

Once I finally check off the last 2 cover options I'm missing ( yellow Comfort craft, and I think a Sawcut red ) I just may go for these other 3, because that would give me a true legitimately complete collection.
Technically there's also the assembled in Mexico 305, but I don't think it can be identified without the box and I'd consider it to be like a black sheep anyways so I'm not going to bother.

A green paperstone B&C 305?!? Yes! I'd love to see that.
I'm on the fence.
If the existence of a knife that I've been told doesn't exist is identified, that's really going to kill my collection because it means they're too rare for me to ever find.
I can keep my sanity by pretending they don't exist 😵‍💫

It was the 309, not the 305 in the B&C Green Paperstone Combo tin with the 303.
Special Projects says 2500 of those combos and I have yet to find one.

I have the 301 tin as well as the 303/309 tin. I picked these up from Larry a few years back. Really nice knives.

In hand, they're all the same color, but the finish of the paperstone ranges from glossy to matte which accounts for the different appearance in this photo.

Anyway, back to 305's.

Actually, my first example of this pattern was this 375, and I couldn't believe how small it was. I also can't believe that I haven't lost any of these. Whenever I carry a 305/375, I'm paranoid about checking my pockets before putting my pants in the laundry.

My only 305 Lancers. One is the only Camillus Buck I have. I believe the other is a first year in-house Buck made 305.

I'd say you're right on that one.
It just may be another I should look for if I was gonna get crazy into minute details like this.
I'm only considering it at this point because I was able to acquire the 12 other in house 305's that I have , and thought I'd never be able to acquire some of those.

BTW I noticed that your Camillus 305 has a very canted main blade, that's something I've seen on a number of their equivalents like the yellow jacket...etc but have never once seen on an in house 305.
For a solid 15-20 years Buck was damn consistent with QC with the 305.

It's nice to see a 305 that's been carried as much as that '86 clearly has, and without having been abused either.

I didn't realize that Case's 81 stockman was actually this small, I have a brown synthetic 33 pen that I want to like but it just wasn't a spectacular example.
I appreciate that it's kind of a beefier little knife, but I still like the 305 way more.
Their clip blade is attractive, but so does the clip on my 305's and the little coping blade is amazing.

I always loved the idea of the scissors on the clipper and Duet , but I always have a 58mm Vic on me and I'd probably keep trying to use the coping blade that isn't there if I carried mine.
