305 options

I've got a line on a couple of the 305's I knew I definitely want.

Theres a 3rd I'm not sure I really wanna pony up for just yet, but boy is it nice.
I thought I found a chairman ,but realized they mislabeled a 309.

One of them I've probably wanted more than anything and might be able to score pretty cheap, the other not quite as much and certainly not as good of a deal.

The 1990 black Buckbone 305 I've been watching just got reduced in price this morning, so I went ahead and scooped it up before it was gone

I also found a chairman series in good condition that I'm watching, but I'm not good at the whole bidding thing and just bought this one so I'm not sure if it's gonna happen.

Glad it turned out OK. Strange things can happen with items on that auction site.
I've been relatively lucky, but there have been hiccups.

I looked and it turns out it was a brass and rosewood 305 off my watchlist that had sold and they had the wrong item in that email.
It was nice, but not as nice as this one for sure.

Right now I'm watching a workman series that I'll probably miss, and just took a shot at a lowball offer on a charcoal diamondwood that I've been watching for months.
Terrible photos, but if I can get it cheap enough I'm willing to gamble on the sellers description

Btw I also discovered a potential other handle option.
This 1992 example sold on Eprague knives.

I don't know what the deal is, but I really like it and will probably never see another.
Looks like maybe Buckbone that wasn't dyed much ?

I also saw the clipper in buckbone as well, Chuck Buck signed.

My current list I'm looking for.

Stag
Chairman series
Yellow saw cut
Red saw cut
Workman series grey saw cut
Standard black+ BUCK oval shield.
Charcoal diamondwood
Possibly an unknown jigged bone variant from 1992, no info about it.

I just checked 2 off my list, a workman series and the Charcoal diamondwood .
I didn't intend to score 2 right now but it worked out that way, and neither of them show up often so I'll be glad to have them.

I had a $30 bid in on the workman and forgot about it not expecting to win so I threw a $35 counter offer ( started $20 on Thursday, ended up settling at $35 ) at the charcoal diamondwood, I won the workman and the offer was accepted for the charcoal diamondwood.

The workman looks to be in decent enough condition with only some bolster rash and a little edge damage near the tip of the main blade.

The charcoal diamondwood I can't say for sure, it seems better and worse depending on which terrible picture you're looking at.
The sellers description leans towards what I see in the more favorable pictures so I took a gamble on it. ( this isn't one of them )

I can at least see that the blades are full, beyond that I'm not sure what might just be lighting and glare.

I'm not going to bother with any of the sellers other pictures ( I consider their pictures part of my purchase ), mine will be 20x better than either seller could do with their hello kitty cameras.

Just got the workman in today, my first single spring 305 which is a pleasant surprise.
Overall the condition isn't too bad.

Minus the edge damage near the tip of the main blade that sharpened out easily the blades are in great shape, the bolsters are a little beat up but I don't mind when it comes to a user.

Surprisingly the blades have no play and the W&T is great, probably my snappiest 305.

I really admire your commitment to the 305's. I only have a single-spring version, but I like it very much. There are a couple on your list floating in the bay now.

My current list I'm looking for.
