308 or 762 or 470 or other ZT ?

The 804cf is an absolute tank of a knife and very pleasing to look at, Though they don’t come up for sale very often and can cost you more than $300 some times, I’m glad I was finally able to score one. The 0620 and 0630 are really good models too. I wish ZT would quit discontinuing my favorites.

That's been my problem with ZT.
The 303, 900, 909, 630, etc. All favorites of mine as I gravitated toward the brand because they were big, heavy duty work knives.

There is an 804 laying at the bottom of the knife case at a LGS. They won't move on the price, which is smart, but if they came down a couple bucks I would probably buy it.

FWIW, I own about 40 ZTs and none of them are models (like those) which have been released in the past 2-3 yrs.

My preference is for the older models released around 10-15 yrs ago that (for the most part) have been discontinued but, if I were limited to only models that are still made, I'd pick the 0452.

I've got 3 of those and am still looking for certain other variations of it.

Do you have any 0452 with g10, instead of CF? I had the CF standard model and bought a gold G10 model and wound up only keeping the 390 steel, G10 rose gold. The lock up on the G10 is just dead solid and the carbon fiber model had mushy lock up which was easy to push all the way over against the carbon fiber side.

I have three 0452s. The standard 0452CF, the 0452CFM390BLU and the 0452G10M390GLD.

The later 2 were Sprints which I think are/were the prettiest of the 0452s ever made. All of my 0452s lockup and function to my satisfaction.

Owned an all blue Ti version previously but didn't like the way it looked that much, so I sold it. Missed a chance to buy an plain all Ti version of the 0452 off of the Exchange recently but chances are that I'd feel the same way about it as I did about the all blue Ti. So, I don't regret missing the chance to buy it.

Tell me about it. I wish I bought even more than I did, years ago. The 0801 is a favorite of mine. Never really warmed up to the 0804cf because of that pocket clip. Too tight IMO.
Anyway, I checked DLT, they still have the 0562cf and 0562ti for sale. 👍
