Here's a wild one in mega tough Super Shock S7 Tool steel and one of my favorite scale materials, antique ivory micarta. The micarta is real vintage material and has a cool aged natural ivory or faded two tone look.

Features

- Hollow to convex chisel grind
- Polished convex edge
- Two-tone satin/polished finish
- tube rivets secure the sculpted handle
- knocker pommel
- Tough and sharp!

- 8.5" total length
- 4" blade
- 4.5" Handle
- .315" (5/16") Thick steel
- sleek 3/16" thick scales


Materials Used

- S7 Tool Steel
- Antique Ivory Micarta scales
- Stainless Steel Tube
- West Syestem G-Flex Epoxy

- Heavy Duty Leather for sheath


As always the heat treat was done myself with help from my digitally controlled kilns and plate quench setup.

This knife comes with a right hand belt carry heavy duty leather sheath.

I don't think it's thick enough. :p

But other than that, very nice.

Far too many good makers, and knives on this forum, for me to have any kind of savings.......;)

Very sweet Daniel.....can't believe I missed it!! I've been looking around for one of your knives and that super-thick tip is quite nice....also like the harpoon blade!!

Hey thanks for the kind words!

I just put another Poon tip for sale here on Fixed Blades... it is 1/8" thick but the same design and crazy tough S7.
 
I am absolutely impaired by the beauty of this, and still have yet to figure out how the tip is done... beautiful!!!
