First things first, yes I know I don't have 315 posts yet...read on. I'm pretty new here but I will say this is one of the most polite and helpful forums I've ever been on. A credit to the members and moderators that keep it in check. I've been the recipient of some good will so I'll pass it on.

The rules are fairly simple:
1 Forum member that regularly posts here in traditionals are eligible
2 post a picture of something outdoors. It can be hunting, fishing, hiking, biking, walking the dog, cat, turtle, your lawn, anything...I don't care, just something outside with a quick sentence on what it is.
3 Say "I'm in"
4 I'll cover shipping to the US or thereabouts. If you're overseas and the shipping is ridiculously high I just ask that we work together, or you can elect to pass.

The GAW knife has already been decided but won't be divulged until the winner is announced. I will tell you it is a very nice stockman pattern that I have posted on the forum, either here or in the Schrade collectors, maybe both, maybe not.

The 315th post I make will be the announcement of the winner, chosen at random by assigning numbers to those that want in. (Provided I don't screw this up and lose track of my posts) I'll let you guys do the math to figure out how long it'll take for me to hit 315, but once I hit 314 I'm selecting a winner. It could be sooner if I get chatty:D or 2 months from now if work keeps going sideways.

Thanks to those of you here and I'm looking forward to see who actually walks their turtle...

Here's a photo at a local state park of a tree carving that was done on a downed tree.

I'm in!

Thanks for the generous giveaway.

I am going to say "Not in" because I have recently won a GAW, but I always like to participate. And I especially want to take the opportunity to say that while you may be new here I certainly have found you to be a welcome addition to the porch. :)

View media item 456This picture isn't particularly knife related, but it is one of my favorite landscapes. It is Fort Rock Oregon. It is the caldera of a marr from back when that valley was filled with an ice-age lake. The lake was so big and deep that the waves of the lake are what opened up the side of the formation. It is a cool spot.

Shoot, man. I’m in just hoping the GAW is one of those wonderful stockman patterns you have! Lol.

How about we go for a ride outside? My favorite hot rods always have no tops. Not drop tops. Not something can put up when it gets a little warm or cool, or a little rainy. No top at all! Can’t ger more “outside” than that!

If you win we can always negotiate delivery in exchange for a ride!!!

We're really glad you're here 315 and to host a GAW in just at 4 months of membership is very admirable. If you get a ride out of Joey I'm going too, this guy post some incredible cars.
I'm in!
First pic is a buck and a sak at a camp site. The second is just a view from the Blue Ridge Parkway.
