319DLC-1801 Benchmade Premium Plus Exclusive!

Looks really nice. I don’t know if I can justify buying a second Proper though.
 
I was considering snagging a 319 proper variant and was deciding between the green micarta and the red G10. Looks like now I'll have a third equally compelling option (price dependent) to choose from! While it'd be more compelling with a different steel (imho), S30V is more than serviceable for my needs, especially in a knife like this. And I do love the blue scales!

All in all, a solid offering in my book so long as again, I find the price tolerable (which is admittedly very subjective).

Benchmade missed the mark again. What else is new for Benchmade? Time for the Mini 940 and make something people will be excited about. Does Benchmade know where they are going anymore? They seem to be grasping at straws and it’s not been working. 940 Mini will invigorate a buzz around Benchmade again and can last with different versions like what’s been done with the 940

I dont see much of a point for a mini 940. And i dont have a problem with S30V. So this is a neat knife. I feel like Benchmade is doing just fine, especially with some of the recent releases like the Bugout and Mini Crooked River.
 
Neither are legal in L.A. county to carry. 3 inch limit here unfortunately. Part of why I want a Mini 940 and plus it just makes sense, like the Mini Grip and others that are mini versions.
 
I only carry antique slip joint knives if I’m carrying a slippy. I’m kind of a snob that way

I think you missed the mark. So who's right, neither, both?

The proper has done really well for them. it's already gotten a ton of positive feedback on IG. This will be popular, maybe not everyone, but with the majority.

Benchmade isn't hurting by the way. They have an extremely solid lineup already. And added crazy popular new favorites this year alone with the grizzly ridge and the mini crooked river and the bug-out of course among many many others.

I echo kaput's comment that Benchmade seems to be doing just fine. Some popular offering lately, some in direct response to customer feedback.

That being said, I am not yet drinking the Proper kool-aid. Maybe I need to hold one to become a believer.

This whole rant, and most of the rants you been on this week make no sense. Last time I checked the release of the Crooked River and Bugout has had people very excited. Benchmade also had one of the better overall customer reviews in terms of 2018 releases compared to companies such as SpyderCo and ZT. Lastly, I haven't seen a single person mention a min 940 except you. However, I have seen a million people begging for the Mini Crooked River which they promptly provided.
