Hi Folks,

Just finished # 32 the "Dark Hunter"...aka...The Archery Contest Knife. For the past three years I've included a knife for the winner of our annual work archery big buck contest. Winner receives this knife w/sheath and the entrance fees.

Specs are as follows:

4 7/8" Blade of 1095, edge quenched, double tempered at 475 degrees, cold blue finish.

Walnut handle, Minwax Ebony Dye, single 1/16" brass pin for contrast. Wood from Mike Jones

Mild steel guard, butt cap, and finale w/carved daisy design, all cold blued fittings.

OAL of 9 3/4"

Balance point right in the middle of the guard.

Thanks for your comments and any critical feedback.

Bob,

Hershey, PA

I like the shape of the knife. Long pointy tip and the cool thing at the butt. (see, I know all the technical terms) All in all, a great looking knife in my opinion.
