I believed they were ordered by SMKW and made through Buck's Chinese manufacturing facilities partner. I suppose it I possible that SMKW got a license from Buck to use their label using some other manufacturer. But I think maybe not because why would Buck sign up for the warranty costs for another manufacturer? I am too lazy to go look at the box to see what the warranty or company address was.is that made by Buck or a Buck labeled rough ryder?
We don't exactly know the name of the specific factory in China making either, so it's possible that they come from the same factory.is that made by Buck or a Buck labeled rough ryder?
That's true. In China, they don't let foreign companies make stuff without a Chinese partner. That way they can steal intellectual property easier. So it is possible that Buck's partner and SMKW''s partner for making Rough Riders could be the same.We don't exactly know the name of the specific factory in China making either, so it's possible that they come from the same factory.
