I apologize if already posted, but we have BM coming with a liner lock flipper that's just looking sexy! Only a few pics I've been able to find, if you have anything to show on this one please post.

For the pricing around 120 dollars, holy smokes is this set to jump into competition with a few blades on my list. Glad BM is leaving a thumb stud off this one, and loving the new clips they have been switching to. 154cm blade, with G10 handles, and by pics I'm seeing full size metal liners, don't know if they are milled out though.

Overall, my wallet can't take it! I want one so bad. What is everyone seeing with this model?

Picture is from BladeHQ:

I've never been attracted to "Flippers", but that's a good lookin knife

I kinda like it. I'd rather check one out in person before buying one.

Same here. I'm in love with my 300-1301, so when I saw this, it was definitely exciting. It looks like it's a lot thinner than the 300, but I want to know how much, and I'd love to see how the bearings feel. Comparison pics once it's released would probably seal the deal for me.

That flipper looks huge. Need to handle one before I judge it though.

It is much thinner and lighter than the 300. The flipping action with the bearings is very smooth and fast with good blade retention. Also the adjustable stop pin is a great feature because lock up can be set where one likes. The g10 is grippy with smooth rounded edges. The flipper tab provides excellent finger protection in a thrust situation and is sufficient for the flip action. It is a lot of blade in a sleek handle and feels great in hand.

I'm seeing the flipper stick out so far that it may interfere with cutting something on a flat surface (like food on a cutting board).

I do like the knife. Especially the blade shape... I think if you ground off the flipper and put a thumb stud on it, it would be even better :D

Correction. Liner...I only see a single liner. Cheesy.😦

Spyderco makes some tough knives with a single liner. I picked up a Precinct yesterday, and I thought it was a decent knife. It is a super smooth and fast flipper, and it is pretty light for its size. Looking at the satin version, I probably should have waited until the regular production version came out instead of buying a coated blade, combo edge, first production run knife. Someone online made the point that this knife is a slightly larger Kershaw Skyline for nearly triple the price. That is a fair argument because I suspect Sandvik steel is competitive with 154cm.

That's an interesting knife, but does anyone else think "Precinct" is an odd name for a knife? Especially from an American company?

A lot of American knives have military or police related names. That's the basis of the whole "tactical" appeal.

Yeah, I get that. It just seems like a stretch here. It's basically naming it the station or district. Just sounds weird to me.

154CM steel and G-10 handles are the traditional tactical look. Just wish the liners were dual.

I noticed my Precinct has a very late lockup. I have done nothing but flip it since it is a flipper. It might have to go back.

The one I handled had a very late lockup. The dealer was sending it back.

Just so everyone knows the stop pin is totally adjustable. Loosen the screw and spin the stop pin to whatever lockup suits you. If you look at the pin it has facets cut to different depths on it to adjust the lockup. Not sure why Benchmade does not make this known.
