But... painting the blade rather than finishing the stainless is lazy and cheap! I can't support that.

I find the black and green carbon fiber attractive but the model doesn't fit with my collecting goals and I don't need another EDC. One more for the rest of you.

Don't look at the Buck main page now, there is a short video clip of the knife (that green black carbon fiber does look good in the video). Almost made me buy one. Almost : )

Some months ago, Buck was on here referring to some upgrades for the Vantage.
I was sorta hoping for some bearings to replace the washers, but nothing was ever mentioned about that anyways.

I guess cerakoted s35v over s30v, and carbon fiber scales qualify as an upgrade....?

I'm thinkin this is just a botm run using up some s35vn blades or whatever.

I still have hope for an upgraded vantage and maybe even my xl version too.....

Got both of mine yesterday. Wish I could post pics. Not bad not my favorite Vantage though. Scales might seem slick but they are grippy
