Did a quick check and did not see anything post about this.

For those that are in the area and may not know about this.

I went last year and got to meet Mr. Rick Hinderer and Mr Bob Terzuola among several well known knife makers. Saw plenty of Striders, Sebbies, and many beautiful customs.

Got this card in the mail today and took a quick scan of it

I will be there friday. Im gonna try to score a strider in s110 if they have any

I'll be there on Saturday. Don't know if I'll be buying anything, but I usually go for the company. I might look into an Ohta slipjoint.

Why they chose to do this every year on the weekend deer season opens here is beyond me, maybe whoever runs this show doesnt think hunters would be interested in knives. I can already count 5 people including myself who wont be there(and neither will our money) because opening day is Saturday.
The one time I did get over to the show, back when they had it at the Plaza in NY I got to meet Bob Dozier and Bob Terzoula. Still regret not buying a Dozier right there from the man himself

Do you think there will be an edge pro salesman or a wicked edge salesman there..I would really like to see one in person.

I hope all of you attending NYCKS will stop by the Knife Rights table and say "hi." If you decide to join, renew or donate that would be okay as well. :D

Save $5 on admission here: http://conta.cc/sCMP6n

I'll be there on Saturday. Never been to it before but it seems like it'll be an awesome show. Is it a b/s/t show or just companies showing off some stuff?

With all the B.S. NY is pulling these days as far as knife laws go, they don't deserve to have a knife show....

Another way to look at it is that the promoter doesn't deserve to be run out of town, at considerable cost to all involved, because of DA Vance's persecution of knife dealers and owners. That's why we are suing the DA, because he is violating our civil rights and that of honest, law-abiding knife dealers and citizens. Have you joined or made a donation to support the fight against his abuse of our civil rights?

That's why the show is in New Jersey.

But Critter is right, NY deserves better than to have it reputation and businesses wrecked by one man distorting the law.

NYC.... Not NY. If you are going to make comments like this, at least get your comments right. I'll be stopping by the table Critter.

Manhattan County.
Not NYC
:D

Actually, "NYC" is technically a correct abbreviation in that it is New York County (which encompasses Manhattan). Vance is the District Attorney for New York County. New York City (also NYC) is comprised of 5 Boroughs (which happen to coincide with 5 counties which do not all share the same name as the borough). It gets confusing.....

Confusing it is. The New York Post Office serves only New York County/Manhattan. The other boroughs have their own Post Office management structures.

Yet Vance's antics penalize all of New York City, and for some dealers, other parts of New York State also. :(
