#35 Beer and Sausage Bar Tool Knife

The spring on the BRR is puny. This is why the footprint is so thin for a 3 spring life.

No half stop on the BRR?

The Queen Cockfighter was functional. One dealer at a PA show said he sold a lot at Delmarva fights. He said cockfighting knives has had a comeback due to the sport's. popularity among varios immigrant communities.

Neither the seam ripper nor the saw were functional for what they are on the knife to accomplish. I can image a lot would be sold at the pit; but for the novelty. I have cut many spurs off and cut even more heels off - and those tools on the "Cockfighter" knife would be like using a steak knife to trim your nose hairs.

I had to go for the ebony and cocobolo. Just can't say no to wood covers it seems. I pray the 74 release has boring cover options as my knife fund is quite dry now lol.

I got the pick bone and ebony. That coco looked awfully tempting tho. The B&S knife is cool but it just doesn't quite do it for me.

If the next two runs are Mustangs and Vipers as some have surmised I would think that takes us to the end of the year. I'm not too keen on Vipers, and Stallions would be more appealing to me than Mustangs. I'm hoping I have enough self control to just enjoy the knives I've gathered so far this year.

I agree. I can't see spending my money on a Mustang when it's so close to my #73.
A stallion on the other hand would probably have me opening my wallet. The clip blade would make it different enough.

As much as I like GEC I gotta say if I got to be "in the know",set up a special account to automatically buy one whenever they're available, or any other jumping through hoops, then that knife just ain't for me. I can satisfy my GEC cravings for less desirable models and still have an outstanding knife. Plus thats what the exchange is good for, sometimes people buy a particular pattern out of curiosity. Then when they decide it wasn't their cup of tea they'll pass it on.

I gave up on the new knife anxiety too. I remember being at restaurants, frantically typing on the tiny keyboard on my phone, trying to login into accounts and Paypal, as a knife dropped...only for it to be gone during checkout.

If I'm working at my computer while an early reserve opens up, and I'm lucky enough to reserve one...great!
If not...oh well, I have a lot of knives.
I'm much happier now. :)
