I just posted some of the new stabilized Ancient Bog Oak blocks in the store. This Bog Oak is from Poland.
This wood was not sent in for carbon dating so the age is only a guess. Based on the coloring at least a couple thousand years old might be a reasonable guess.
These blocks were stabilized by K&G.

Click on the photo if you would like to go where these blocks are located in the store.

You got me, I couldn't resist.

And it's funny..... From you the first one was free..... Many years and purchases ago!!!😝 wonder what that reminds a guy of. I tell people knife making is as expensive as a drug habit, but we end up with piles of dust!!😝😤😝😉

Kris is a textbook example of a wood junky.
But, I would be willing to bet that he has a better wood collection than I do.
Thank You Kris.

Thank You Don.
I should have made your purchase conditional on you making at least one scary tac folder with the bog oak as scales.
I think it would look cool in a dark and sinister way.
If you ever do, I would love to see a photo.
Everything you and Kyle have done in the past has looked great.

Mark any chance you have a mailing list I could sign up for when you have more bog oak available?

Glad I got in before Don did!! Although I have bought wood off of him too...😝

Wood junky is one of the nicer things I've been called, the worse things may still have been accurate though.

Now I need to start putting my collection to use, and becoming good enough to deserve to use what I have!!
Just something so special
About that oak, I'm glad I have a couple of examples of it!!
