Hello to all,

Here is one of my bigger Humpback Hunters with something extra.

The Blade is 154cm .212 thick and 4 in. from tip to guard. O/A is 8.5 in. The blade has been heat treated to 60-61 RC and cryo quenched then tempered 2hrs 2 times. The finish is 1200 grit satin. The construction is very solid with a mortised tang with no chance of stress risers. Its going to be a tough one to see go.

Guard is of 416 stainless and soldered perfectly

Handle is Sambar stag with accent of ancient watrus ivory. The pammel is Bronze and I also added a 38 special casing just for fun. It covers the screw.

The sheath is 9-10 ounce hand tooled and hand stitched leather. The knife fits securely with a snap fit yet is easy to withdraw.

I hope you like this one as much as I do. It really is a solid and beautiful piece.

I am asking SOLD plus $15.00 for conus. I accept paypal. Thank you for having a look see

You should have put a 450 Dakota or 460 Weatherby in that knife. That is a spectacular knife. I love it.

Alan: Absolutely stunning - what quality! I'm impressed and this is worth every penny.

Since it's a hunting knife, if you continue doing these might not be bad to try some rifle cartridges, or maybe even let guys send their own. i.e. I hunt with a 35 whelen (not really, there's no scope on it right now) or a 30-06, I can send you the case you use that. man that'd be slick. It's like the ultimate version of the cartridge knives where it has the little shield shaped like a cartridge on the side. I bet these would be a hit at Friends of NRA dinners.

Alan: I need some help - I tried making the same butt treatment with a .35 Remington - when I drove in the cartridge, it ignited and blew off the stag handle. How do you keep that from happening??????!!!!! :D

Now that is a double knee slapper TK. Thats perfect, your killen me here. You sure it wasn't your alkida leg bone that blew up on ya. Or was it taliban?

Dago Red, I was tellen Drducati that I had done a set of custom knives for a Father that was giving them to his sons for Christmas. He had brought some elk antlers from animals they had shot to be put into the handles and wanted me to some how incorperated 30-06 and 348 casings into them so I used them in the sides of the handle in place of pins. They were stacked handle knives so it was just for looks of course. They turned out very cool so this idea is just a spin off from that. I was telling the Dr. that I might make one and show it on the forums to see what yall think. It might be a good idea to send those casings. Maybe I could use them for it?

I have to agree with Dago Red. This line of knife could be a winner I do believe. custom made with the cartridge of your choice. What better choice or gift for a dedicated hunter.

Is this still knife still here???
If so I'll be glade to take it!!!!!
