Hello to all,
Here is one of my bigger Humpback Hunters with something extra.
The Blade is 154cm .212 thick and 4 in. from tip to guard. O/A is 8.5 in. The blade has been heat treated to 60-61 RC and cryo quenched then tempered 2hrs 2 times. The finish is 1200 grit satin. The construction is very solid with a mortised tang with no chance of stress risers. Its going to be a tough one to see go.
Guard is of 416 stainless and soldered perfectly
Handle is Sambar stag with accent of ancient watrus ivory. The pammel is Bronze and I also added a 38 special casing just for fun. It covers the screw.
The sheath is 9-10 ounce hand tooled and hand stitched leather. The knife fits securely with a snap fit yet is easy to withdraw.
I hope you like this one as much as I do. It really is a solid and beautiful piece.
I am asking SOLD plus $15.00 for conus. I accept paypal. Thank you for having a look see
