3B2 value

I know, I didn't want to say anything. I will say this (and I hope it makes you feel better), it was underpriced in the Ganzaa. A year ago (before I was knife savvy) I paid $150.00 for a Becker BK-7 at the Bay.:foot::o

It was super cheap in the ganzaa. The CG ASH-1 direct from Busse Combat with Jungle Green and Magnum Black G-10 would have been $352 plus shipping. So the 3B2 was a great deal.

For the .320 version, the 3b2 was a skinny.

Whatever it takes to make ya feel better.;)

Are the days of the Ganzaa's over, or will there be more? I wouldn't mind participating in one. At least it would be a chance for some knives straight from Busse, instead of trying to get a deal through the exchange. I haven't heard much about the Ganzaa's, but I've heard they were pretty tough.

There's a good chance there will be one after blade. I'd say June or July?

Can anyone tell me what I should expect to pay for an unused 3B2? I haven't seen one for sale in the exchange since I've been on the Busse bandwagon, and I'm wondering if they are really that scarce or not.

Thanks,

Les.

Since you are a Gold member, you can do a search. Go the Busse Sale forum, click on 'Search this forum' and type '3b2' in search box.

Of course, researching sale prices would be easier if sellers would leave the price up; but that's for another thread.

You can also search for all 3B2 threads and PM individual Hogs for specifics.

I never felt bad. I never bought it because, like I posted before, I am not a fan of hand smoothed g-10--which actually adds to the value. The Skinny ASH's from the Company Store were never offered in a similar pattern, but the CG ASH's were offerred in Jungle Green and Magnum g-10, as I stated. I believe the Skinny ASH's started at $302.00 with machined micarta. It would have been extra for hand smoothed scales, the g-10 and the special paint job... So I stand by the statement that the ganzaa price was cheap in comparison to other ASH offerrings. IMO the cheap price had more to do with a lot of us hogs being "ASHed out" at the time. YMMV :) You can save your comments for trashing sales ads.
