Got any recommendations?

Local guys aren't as interested in the work (not inspired by fancy custom knives) :D

And I don't want to just post on a cnc forum asking for work (did that once and got a little soured on it).

Does anybody here have any contacts for someone that can do a good job on quantities less than 100? I need 20. I have a 2D CAD file to work from (might help a little), but no g-code yet. If I had that...:D....I could get them done locally. But that's the hard part. :o

Any help/suggestions/recommendations appreciated!

Talk to David at GLW. He has a guy that will do a batch of 50 (not sure if sets or pieces).

Most shops won't run other people's G code. Mistakes in the program and even differences in controllers could lead to costly mistakes. Perhaps what you're thinking of is a 3D CAD model.

If it is something that David can do on a WJ, that will be the most cost effective route. If it is actually 3D machined you might post a pict of what you're thinking about and I could take a look at it. David Wesner and Bobby Branton also have CNC and might be interested in helping you out.

Some recent 3D machining:
