3D Printed Buck Knife File Request

I cleaned the rough side a bit more with small blade and it looks finished now. I'll take it with me next week when I visit my Son and talk about it. Clear material and blue is available to be purchased but I need him to point me at it so I can get the good stuff.

How strong is it?
I have a brand new 2013 501 blade, rocker bar, and spring that someday needs a frame ;)
Clear would be super extra freaky awesome!

3D printer 501 bucklite :)

If you go into production, let me know!!!

Just send me the file, printer ready, and your wish is my command.

I haven't sharpened it yet. There are young children at my Son's house and I need to play it safe. However, it will never be shaving sharp so settle down. Wait. Could it, ABS, be made razor sharp? I'm not really sure.

Hmmmm..... I have no idea how to do it! LOL

However, our boy is a senior in high school next semester.
Every year he takes engineering classes there.
The Engineering Department just so happens to have a 3D printer ;)
They have limited funding, so making the part would be unlikely, but making the printer ready file would be free and pretty likely to happen!
I am confident that I could get the boy to have his teacher help out on making the file as a side project.

I have a deconstructed Bucklite Max handle that they could use for dimensions for the pivots and spring slot etc....

That would be a great learning experience for the kid too!

Oh.... if Armand sees Bucklites made with abs, we will have to hide them.....bwahahahahhahaha!!!!

OK then we must do this.

Once you get the file ready just email it to me and I print it and usps it to you.

Maybe it could be done sooner too.
Google found some free software out there.... so perhaps I might be able to tinker around and learn it.... :)

Great tools Douglas. Thank you kindly.
