Went to Grainger and the 3m seemed to fit pretty well. So I got it over the North. but now I'm confused what you guys do for filters. I'm looking for the setup where I can change out the P100 filters more often than the Organic Vapors. The guy at Grainger said the P100 would clog up quicker. So in other words the filter that has Organic and P100 in one unit would be wasteful.

What are you guys doing that have the 7500??

Thanks!

Get the combo P100 and VOC for some protection against the solvents we use like epoxy and acetone + the off gas of the handle materials

You can get prefilters that are very cheap $10 for 10 - they snap over the others and extend their life.

for the north it's

North 7506 N95 Replacement Pre-Filter
The North N95 Particulate Filters are NIOSH approved for protection against solid and liquid particles - not including those that contain oil.
N95 respirators filters are NIOSH certified to have filter efficiency level of 95% or greater against non-oil based particulates.
The North N95 respirator filter can be used with any North respirator facepieces and must be also be used in addition to a North respirator cartridge. These filters also require the use of the North Filter Cover.
Includes 10 respirator filters per/package.

plus a plastic snap cover

3M should probably have the same thing but of couree they have their own fit and size
