I bought one of the shopping net work lol got it today no filters so I went to the tool crib a place that sells all tools and accesories. They had the 6001 filter for organic matter. Is this good enough or do I get the one for organic and acid . This one is for like mold and dusts. The fullface 3m 6000 series is a great mask for a fullface no more goggles . I really like the way you snugg it up on your face to keep a good seal. Kellyw

what are you grinding first off?

I think with what you bought, would be a good cartridge against vapors and stuff that will FRY your brain over time. If you are grinding metal, i find that all you need is the P100 filters (Reddish pink). if you're playing with acetone and paint thinners then organic vapors cartridges work great.

someone correct me if i'm wrong !!!!

You picked a good respirator there

with P100 dust filter attached

Check with your supplier to be sure, but this is what I use

When sanding or working with laminates like G10 . fibreglass, carbon fibre the heat on the resin can give off formaldehyde vapours.

dykem Blue, Expoy and the acetone I use to clean it up are VOC's

and the pink P100 filter snaps on overtop of the cartridge.
you can get extras of this cheaper filter to replace more often as it clogs up faster than the chemical cartridge will wear out.

Just the Organic vapour-Formaldehyde cartridge

Just the dust filter

Is the face shield portion of that mask rated for impacts? I can't tell by looking at the suppliers link in that earlier post. If it is, than this looks like a great piece of equipment.
