about a dozen have come and gone since this one, but only two before it. it has been sitting around rusting in my closet for 3 1/2 years. it's made from a nicholson file. the guard and sub-hilt are stainless(dont know what grade) the handle is carbon fiber and g10. 4 hidden pins and one mosaic, the thong tube is missing. the bevels were ground on a 2x18 stone wheel and finished by hand, but i MORE than know my way around a big pedestal grinder. still needs epoxied and a little dremel and hand sanding work.
