So this is my third knife, out of the original 15 that I cut profiled and sent out to heat treat. I've been slammed at work with travel, so I haven't had any time to work on knives but I managed to eek this one out over the course of a couple weeks at night. The handle tapers towards the blade and then again towards the butt. I showed my friend who it's for and he wants to put it in his going away shadow box from work. Kinda disappointed it won't be getting actually used but happy he likes it enough to display it. Comments/ critiques welcome as always.

OAL: 9"
Thickness: 1/8"
Handle: Cocobolo, brass pins
59-60 hardness
Ferric Chloride/Vinegar etch and blued

I like it, reminds me of Jot Singh Khalsa. What use do you think the design is optimized for?

I figured the guys I work with would use them in place of one of the issued fixed blades we get. Hacking, prying, stabbing... whatever the need should arise.
