3rd try or let it go?

Not really good bad or ugly, more a request for advice. So I hope this is the right forum.

I had ordered a large Japanese friction folder (20+ USD) through the rain forest site and the seller sent it from Japan.
Turned out they send me the medium size (which costs about the same)

They were super nice, apologized and sent me a replacement free of charge.
Turned out the replacement was also just the medium version.
Now I got 2 medium sized folders for the price of one. I don't need that size but could maybe gift it to some family or friends.

I would really like the large one but am hesitant to contact the seller again. They seem so friendly they would just attempt it again (and maybe fail a 3rd time) I don't want them to lose any more money even if it's their mistakes. I already feel uncomfy getting one for free even if its the wrong size. Sending the 2 wrongly sized knives back is also impossible due to high shipping costs.

Let it go and get the right folder from somewhere else? I guess I answered my own question but maybe there is a better solution.

What would you do?
 
I would notify them as to what happened, and explain they need to assume the shipping cost for their return. I would then ask them to ENSURE you get the large folder you want.
 
Seeing as mailing things back and forth from and to Japan can be a Pain in the --- ....and the fact I already got a "free" medium blade to gift away....I would simply buy the third one but make a specific note to the LARGE version.

I'm of the opinion that they tried to make good on a deal....still failed but they tried. But that's me.

Sent them a thank you note saying that the replacement arrived and that it was the wrong one but that they shouldn't send another replacement.
This way they don't lose more $ on me and I hope this helps them to take care more with the next customer.
Got the right size from another seller. At least that's what I believe. :p should arrive in 2 weeks.
