Hey guys! Its been a while since I put one of these up, I've been busy working on getting the next batch out for heat treat. This one is ground a little different than normal, I left it thicker in the portion behind the belly, so it is nice and robust for some heavy push cutting. I was inspired by Ian Hall and Terafanatic on youtube to make this all satin version. I really like how it came out and I definitely plan on doing more like this. Since 3v isn't stainless, it will need to be oiled once in a while.

I'm asking SOLD shipped inside the US, this includes the leather pocket sheath my dad made that is pictured. I would consider some trades for near equal value production folders. Make me an offer, worse I can do is say no.

Specs:
Oal-7"
Blade Length-3 1/8"
Steel-5/32" CPM 3-V professionally heat treated to 61 hrc by Peters Heat Treating
Handle Material-Heavily contoured green canvas micarta, secured with a stainless pin, a g-10 lanyard tube and Loctite Hystol e-120 hp epoxy

Now for the pictures

Thanks for looking, I would love to hear what you think,
Drew

Beauty Drew! I love my piece from you. 3V at 61 is awesome in a smaller knife. Your dad makes a killer sheath too. Russ

Very nice. The grind profile is different in a good way.

I do a kinda similar handle shape on some of my EDCs, and I havent yet found a more overall versatile profile for different grips than the double choil with tapered back.

Pm received, this one is SPF

Thanks Mr. Hall! I've seen it on some of your blades as well, and I got to agree with you. Even for its small size, it feels great in the hand.

Thanks AddictedToGear, clean is what I was going for on this one :)

I use both of your knives often and they are comfortable for being so compact. Russ

I too like these designs and am familiar with the handle design... but this knife has only ONE choil as is clear from the images. What definition of "choil" are you using? The "choil" as at the base of the cutting edge, north of the guard. everything below the guard is part of the "handle" wherein the term "choil" does not apply...

Keep up the good work, Drew! And don't stop making the wharnies or making some drop-point designs. The interest is there, i assure you ;)

Thanks chiral.gromlin. Ya, we were referring to the slot where your front two fingers go, the definition of choil seems to mean different things to different people. Don't worry, I have more coming :)

Glad to hear(read) it!

As to "choil", no there is only one meaning but there is a lot of ignorance regarding knife anatomy. Being an enthusiast, i try to dispel that ignorance where I may ;)
