Hey guys! Up for grabs is one of my compact Toge kwaikens. These are the perfect size for an edc, and this one with it slim handle works quite well for pocket carry. The blade is CPM 3V, and heat treated by myself. My heat treat process includes a proper cryo treatment in LN and a low temp temper. (Thanks to Dan Keffeler for HT pointers on 3V)
I hollow ground this one on a 12 wheel. 99% of my blades are flat ground, so this one is unique for me. The wrap is dark grey hemp cord with a black 550 cord turks head knot all soaked in G/flex epoxy.

I forgot to take a picture of it, but it also has my signature tapered fuller on the spine.

The sheath has nice retention and is Molle lok ready, so it can be carried in any direction, including inverted. It also slips nicely into a side pocket.

Here are the specs.

OAL - 8.5
Blade 3 3/4" hollow ground MY signature tapered fuller is on the spine although not pictured.
Steel - .214" CPM 3V 60rc HT and LN cryo done by myself.
Handle - Dark gray hemp cord and 550 cord turks head knot. Soaked in g/flex epoxy
Sheath - Tek lok ready kydex
Price - $325 + $12 Insured Priority shipping
Paypal preferred or postal MO

Thanks for looking!!

Man these are sick! I love your kwaikens, and everything thing else you do, I'm a big fan and I just love your style. Sorry for commenting on this since it's in the sales thread, I usually don't like to comment in these cause I feel that when the seller sees there is a comment, they expect it to be from sombody trying to purchase the knife :o Anyway, I was just lookin through your threads from the last few months and admiring all the kwaikens you've been doin.

I have a question if you don't mind. I couldn't help notice that your recent cord wrapped blades are listed as using "g-flex" epoxy to "harden" them. So my question is, are you just using the normal g-flex that has the yellowish tint to the hardener part? That is what I use and I've always wanted to do cord wraps but didn't wanna spend the cash to get the 2 big cans of west sytem epoxy with the clear hardener in order to do so. But yea, I noticed that there is zero yellow tint to your wraps, at least as far as I can tell, so I was just wondering how it's been working for ya (using the g-flex for soaking the handles). Also if you have any tips you could share on how you apply it I would greatly appreciate it :) Again, sorry for posing this in your sale thread, but it was the most recent post of yours that had cord wrapped blade. Thanks man! :)

Hey Paul, I am using the normal G/flex 2 part epoxy with the amber color. It does slightly darken the wrap, but I haven't ever noticed a yellowish color. I brush it on very thick and it soaks in quite well, basically creating a solid handle. If there are excessive wet spots they can be dabbed with a paper towel once the handle has soaked up everything.
