Hi All,not sure how far I'll get today, but to start,I'll list two of my VCM hand crafted knives. I just finished these & they came out awesome,if I do say so myself.
The blade blanks on these two are Russell Green River forged 1095 carbon, with a flat grind. I pout a nice hand rubbed finish on them. These take a wicked edge rather easily. I myself have not tested edge holding on these over any period of time but one fella who has a set by me,says they hold an edge great & my handle sizing is great for cutting all day long,he is a professional butcher.Your hand won't cramp up,full size comfortable handles. I made these to be used. These are 3/32" thick stock.
The handles are put on by me, I cut the scales on these from blocks.Hand finished out to 600+ grit finish.
The sheaths are by Ray at Wild Boar Blades. Heavy leather, dyed and tooled. Belt loops are double stitched. Both "patterns" here, will reverse in the sheath and maintain a snug fit,so these will work for right or left side belt carry. Ray does a great job.
Either knife is $110. with Paypal fee & Con U.S. shipping included
*****************Sold Thanks****************
First up,a "Sheath" knife. 8.5" OAL,with 4-3/8" of cutting edge. Stabilized buckeye burl,3/16" brass corby bolts
Top of handle
Bottom
This picture shows the finish I put on the steel pretty good
Front & back of the sheath
