I finished this one out weeks ago, and I think I've been dragging my heels with posting it for sale because I'm toying with the idea of keeping it.
This kwaiken is made from .200" thick 1080+ high carbon steel, tapered and skeletonized tang under the wrap, with a layer of soft material under the black rayskin and resin soaked wrap, and an aoi (hollyhock) menuki on the presentation side.
The blade is 4-1/2", as is the handle from butt to the front of the Turks head knot.
The spine is rounded, and the blade has a full height flat grind.
The knife weighs 5-1/2 ounces.
Sheath setup is my inside-the-waistband kydex rig, which is lined with ultrasuede, although right now I have it set up for a lefty, as that's what I am. I just need to flip the screws and belt loop to make it right handed. Or, if it doesn't sell, I start to use it! Been ages since I've had one of these for my own to carry...
$OLD includes shipping anywhere in the continental US via USPS. Email me and we can arrange other methods if necessary, or out-of-country sales. Paypal preferred. I'll eat the Paypal fees.
