  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

4.1 thread

O - It might be an older 3.5, I got it 6 to 9 months ago. The blade is right at 3". If the new 3.5 is about the same or even a little shorter then the old 4.1 then you might be right on the money about the new 3.5 as my new EDC, especially if the handle is as long or longer than the old 4.1. I only need about 4" inches give or take a 1/4" for an EDC knife.

Doesn’t show the old 3.5, unfortunately.
But it does show how the 4.1 has grown and how the new 3.5 compares to the older and new iterations of the 4 series.
IIRC, the new 3.5 is a little over 3.5” from the tip to the front of the scales and OAL is approx. 8.25” (so the handle is over 4” or about the same length as the old 4/4.1)

Standard78 Standard78 provided this great pic for size comparison in an older thread (new 2.7, old 3.5, new 3.5)

Good stuff, thanks for the info!! I am going to be in Boise next month and will make some time to see Guy and crew and will ask him about the differences and take pics if he lets me.

If possible I think I'd try to volunteer some time to do some assembly work, anything to get some old orders out the door faster (wishful thinking I know).
