This is a swayback jack from John,with real pretty "mahogany" dyed stag. India Sambar stag,super high quality & grade. This is the second knife I have seen from John with this treatment to the stag. Based on the two,I feel I can make an assumption,that every set of scales reacts differently. In this case it came out like a light strawberry look. Drop dead gorgeous. Single warncliffe blade is 52100 carbon,spring too. SS liners are mill relieved. SS bolsters are radiused & beveled. SS pins,pinned & inlaid ss " Bullocks" shield. 3-3/4" closed. Blade measures 3" with 2-3/4" of cutting edge. Open it measures 6-3/4" . Pull is a perfect 5,5+ pull. Blade centers,spring is flush in all half stop positions. A tremendous value for this type of custom handmade knife. Leather padded zipper storage case included.

Shadow style (no bolster) Jack with Stellars Sea Cow bone scales & intricate pinned & inlaid ss fish shield. The blade on this knife has a fantastic hollow grind. The entire knife has awesome fit & finish. Perfect smooth snappy5 plus pull. Long pull nail nick,great swedge. SS pins & mill relieved liners. Spring is flush,blade centers perfect. CPM 154 ss blade & spring. Wicked razor sharp. 3-3/4" closed6-3/8" open. Blade measures 2-5/8" with2-3/8" of cutting edge. Realy nice one here. >>Just back in from the engraver.

This trapper with clip point blade is 3.5" closed.The blade is 2-3/4" with 2.5" of cutting edge. Opened up it measures 6-1/8" . A perfect smooth 5,5+ pull. Blade centers,spring flush. 52100 Carbon steel blade & spring. SS liners are mill relieved. Pinned & inlaid ss Federal shield. Bolsters,ss, with a "brush" finish & 'pinched' ,also.
