I've been having fun making Burlap Mycarta
SPECS
Blade and spring Ats-34, Blade @ 61-62RC, spring @ 48-49
Blade is flat ground and hand finished. Drawn swedges.
Frame and all hardware-ss. Liners are mill relieved
Scales Red burlap Mycarta, Dogshead shield is inletted and pinned.
Closed length 4 3/8", open length 8" Back is flush all 3 positions.
Knife has great W/T with good snap. Pull @ a 5+, smooth and positive.
Blade lays center, Cut long pull.

I dig that pattern Ken, I bet it would be a great EDC knife, I like lots of belly
on my clip blades. long pull is perfect for this one. Extra pin is good to have on
this size knife. Congrats...

Just a great looking slippie and love that shield! Man, I wish I could visit with you and all of the great makers that will be in Janesville in a couple of weeks, but alas I will be in Atlanta, ughhh! Mike Zscherney, Les Voorhies, Karl Anderson, Ken Erickson, Gil Hibben, yourself and tons of other great makers, wow!!! Love my Shadow in Green micarta that I got from you last year! Tony :thumbup:

Yes I made the mycarta. I really like linen first then to varying degrees paper
and canvas. I also really like the burlap. So far I've done 3 colors, black,
brown, and red. I'm not making it to sell
