Did not even see the error till I looked at the knife 5 days later. Well NOW it is finished and with its sheath. In the last picture is the current knife I am working on with a little luck finished by next week.
Knife Specifics: 4.5 Inch Bowie with wood handle and sheath.
Steel- Aldo's 3/16ths CPM-154-CM (high carbon stainless)
Hardness- hardened and tempered to a Rockwell 60
Length- 9.5 inches
Blade length- in front of the guard is 4.5 inches
Handle Material- Chechen on the sides Wenge in the center taken to 3000 grit then waxed.
Guard- 154-CM
Pommel- 416
Tang- stainless All Screw silver soldered to blade
Grind- Hollow on a 10 inch wheel.
Mirror finish on the bevels, flats taken to 500 grit then polished. Makes for a nice contrast.
