Went for a good little hike today and snapped a few pics, the leaves are just starting to turn here in Southern WV and my digital camera really does it no justice

This is the first leg of the trail that takes you down by Beechfork Lake.

Salamanders! Cool pics! Nice to see the leaves start turning. I'll bet it'll be even more beautiful in a few weeks. You guys have Hellbenders there?

Those pictures could have been taken here in Ontario. Looks about the same. Thanks for sharing.

Yep, I agree with Doc, except our maples are turning yet.....
Very nice pictures, looked like a great day for a walk.

Let me know if you ever wanna come down and hike it one day:thumbup:

OK. I remember hiking behind the old schoolhouse or whatever it is there in winter of 83 or 84 and there was like 12" of snow on the ground. It was really cool. At that time my wife(girlfriend then) worked for the Cabell Huntington Health Dept and lived on W 16th st. I'd come down and visit her on weekends and we hung out there a lot.

Great pics bro, I love the Salamander pic !!!

I do know ya mean about pics not always doing stuff justice though, sometimes they don't capture the true depth of colour or magnitude of some spectacular view, you look back at the pics and just think " yeah that looks ok !" !!!!
