Hello everybody!

A quite big EDC is up for grabs! I'm not 100% satisfied with the end result, hence the price to move it quick.

Steel: 1095
Handle: Black micarta guard and black walnut handle.

Dimensions:
Overall length: 26 cm -10.23''
Blade length: 12.5 cm - 4.92''
Blade width: 4 cm - 1.57''
Blade thickness: 4.5 mm - 0.177''
Handle length: 12 cm - 4.72''

Flat grind with a convex edge. My pictures are quite awful, the video in HD is a better representation.

It comes as is or with a brown leather sheath. The sheath is not ready yet, you can choose for either left or right side carry.

Price: 90$ as is or 120$ with a leather sheath

Thanks for looking!
Tony.

Thank you guys for your kind words!

It comes down to the final aesthetics of the knife. I used black micarta as the guard but I forgot that the block I used has these visible layers on it. I had envisioned a pitch black guard which would accent the walnut nicely.
Also, I really don't like my pin placement on the handle, it had to be further back.
Finally, when I was making the handle, I ground in scallops on the guard like this.

Which I managed to botch and took them off completely.

Other than these aesthetic "flaws", the knife has nothing wrong with it.

Your explanation of the “flaws” tell me you’re too hard on yourself. I understand why you think the handle pin should be farther back visually, as it would look more symmetrical, but it is still a beautiful piece.

In fact, I’ll take it.

PM sent.

Don't forget your sheath. His sheaths are fantastic just like his knives.
He and I talked about it, but I have a bunch of leather in the garage I need to use, so I’m going to make a project out of it for myself after I get the knife in hand.
