Hello Everyone,
I am reducing the price on this due to financial issues.

The blade is 18.5"
Handle is 5.5"
oal is 23" (the blade sits down into the guard half an inch).

The materials are 80crv2, O1, and 15N20. The majority of the steel is 80crv2 (about 50-55%), with about 30% O1 and the rest 15n20.

3 of the bars are twisted, and the 4th (edge) is piled.

The guard and nagel are each 60+ layers of 1084 and 15N20, and the layers look quite attractive. You can see the shaping of the pieces by the way the layers flow around within them.

The pommel is piled from 4 layers of 15n20 and 1084.

The octagonal shape from the guard flows around and through the handle to the pommel. Not obvious is that the side of the handle that has the nagel on it is a little larger (deliberately) than the other side. This makes the handle firmly fit into the hand of a right-handed fighter.

There is no sheath or by-knives for this one, though I will throw in a length of the same bar from which the blade was forged if someone wants to use it to forge a by-knife.

This is a fast, sharp, formidable weapon, and quite attractive.

$1,000 + shipping.
