4 blems and two ugly villager Kagag Katne for 8/22

Was very fortunate! Yangdu had another pair of villager finish Kagag Katnes that she was willing to send this way! Little beauties, can't wait to sharpen them!

Girlfriend will get her pick first!

Thank you very much, Auntie Yangdu!

Thanks Yangdu for the awesome blade!

Got my Khuk yesterday, turns out my initial post was correct it is an AK, still beyond pleased. I'll have to order the WWII when money permits.

This Khukri is really nice, the hairline split in the handle is something I can look past, will probably fill it to avoid the sweat and grime from getting in it. I am almost afraid to use it for nipping off branches and tree trimming, but I got a barrel cactus that needs attention, cut up one 2 weeks ago used an HF machete - what a stinker that was.

Is there a preservative to use on the leather and what to use for oil on the blade? AZ heat will dry out anything indoors or out.

What a beauty! It will last you a lifetime and then some. Id rub it down with mineral oil both blade and sheath. Enjoy that fine blade. If you decide to fill the crack id fill it with epoxy before oiling just so it will stick better. Sand it down polish it out then oil it up. If the crack is small then forget the repair and just oil it up and use it. It will likely close up once it gets oiled down. Boiled linseed oil and others work well too. Main thing is just get it oiled with some kind of non organic oil and it will last you forever.
