Helge, note that there is no photo of either the ww2 or the pacthar. Both photos show the gelbu and reti

Yessir but there does appear to be if you click into Yangdus photos. Nothing some epoxy can't fill on the WWII

Great offerings today, thanks Auntie.

Anyone know how long the handle is on the Gelbu Special?

Nice - if that WW2 had a wood handle I would have been all over it! That Gelbu is a deal too.

I suspect the first pic was supposed to look like this

Thanks! I was either looking for one of these or a Chitlangi/Chainpuri but the fates decided!
I love this blade, I'm sure I'll be blown away when I get it.
I know Bill recommended it a lot and It's named after Auntie's Brother (?) so it's got to be great!

I'm hoping it'll match my frame and style, it's long and pretty light. I'm already inventing ways to use it - I may have to get creative!

edit: no celebrating till the DD!

Yessir we can both celebrate together if the fates allow. I have been following this thread & waiting to get in early on an M43 or WWII for the last month so mine are crossed as well! I have a beast of an AK years old that I love & just unboxed a KK today that is friggin amazing. HI sure does beautiful work!

Excellent. WWII looks like a great knife. I love the forward bias on the handle/blade and the long handle. The somewhat curved front probably has a lot of utility. Probably -really- solid! Please post pictures, especially action shots!

Thats weird- when i logged on earlier, i saw the correct photo for 1 with the verticle blades....

Grats on that Gelbu stwm:thumbup: Thats the perfect length on on of my favorite designs. I have an 18" that is sweet but I think id prefer one around 20". I have a 20" Siru and also a 20" Single fuller Chitlangi that are prolly my favorites for everyday users but i think id rather have the Gelbu for its AK edge profile. I predict you will love it!

Thanks ndoghouse! I'd love to hear more about the GS! I didn't know about the AK edge geometry, I'd love to hear more about it. I know the GS is very recommended - if you have a Siru and a Chit then I'm -very- pleased with my choice!
My 12" Pacthar and 14" Kobra whet my appetite for a "real" khukuri - a biggun! - I'm so pumped.

I'm selling off a benchmade to fund the purchase *sniff*
