This past Friday (12/9) I had 4 (brand new from the dealer) Continental Contitrac P265/70R17 tires put on my SUV. I have the receipt to prove their purchase date & location. These tires are just not to my liking, so this weekend I'm having yet another set of tires installed, only this time the ones I've personally selected.
Anyways, I have two choices....1) Have the dealer trash the Continentals since they can't sell used tires or 2) Quickly see if anyone here could benefit from a new set of tires.
I have nowhere to store these for the long term so this needs to be a full set transaction (all 4 tires). I'd like to get $100/tire, so a total of $400 for all of them. Feel free to look them up, this is a good discount considering they have almost no mileage what so ever on them...I truly do mean only 100mi drive time.
I'd be willing to ship the set at your expense, but to be honest I don't know if it will be worth your time after shipping. It would work out best if you were in the MD area to drive down and pick them up.
As I said I'm having them taken off this weekend (12/17). If you're interested I need to know by Saturday morning, else without an interested party I'm leaving them at the dealer to be scrapped.
