4" Bushcraft sheaths for Fiddleback Knives

That's it. I just ordered some MPB. I've gotta see how it compares to the stuff I have.

Cool! Let us know how you like it after you've had a chance to test it out. . . I used to use Obenuaf Heavy Duty LP and liked it, but I like MPB better because it's easier to apply and also because I can get it locally for a reasonable price. :)

That's good to hear. Where do you find it locally. Obenauf's is what I use now.

The local Cobbler in Town (Walker Custom Boots) sells it out of his shop. I go though it fast enough that I started buying the 14oz Mini Tubs from him. He was out so is placing another order sometime this week (he could have already done it). So I got a 4 oz Jar to hold me over till said order comes in. Thinking that I'll have him order a 52oz tub next time I need more.

Man - you must make a LOT of sheaths. I have had the same 14 ounce container for a year. I use it pretty liberally when I use it - but it just lasts and lasts.

I am checking out your thread on making the 4 inch sheaths. The simplicity of design and how you cut them allow you to have very little waste and the stitching is a lot easier. I am seeing how you can offer a quality product at a great price.

Machete sheaths use up a ton of leather dressing even when one applies it librally! Took me about 7 months to go though a 14oz jar.

Thanks! I put a lot of time and effort into simplifying my operation and reducing waist. Stream lining my operation has really paid off. Also I hate waist so anytime that I can make a sheath I try to figure out the most efficient way to do it. Cutting Bushcraft sheaths out in Bulk really helps.
