Somebody needs to tell Jay that Scientific conversation doesn't belong on the trail!

don't go all scientific on me, bro!

i'm going to put that on a t-shirt and make meeelions...then we can just have a helicopter drop off gallons of water and a chainsaw so we can camp anywhere!

How are you liking the lady hawk? I haven't gotten around to use mine yet. Also, is the eye on yours wonky? Mine has a bit of gap on the front. It's secure but fugly.

took me a few trips to get used to the skinny handle since i was used to the shawnee but i like it a lot for light duty use - perfect for splitting kindling...i think it's a really nice pairing with a wood stove too. i can split kindling all day and not get tired whereas with the shawnee one-handed i can only do enough prep to start one, maybe two, camp fires and my arm is tired...i still prefer the shawnee though for an all-arounder.

there's a slight gap at the 11 and 1 o'clock but every other area is flush...it hasn't affected the handle fit though and the head feels perfectly centered so i'd say it's just cosmetic on mine.
