Recent days, my brain awakened by a 'hello crazy' sharpening. Testing whether my sequenced(aka ht) O1 steel is capable of supporting 3dps edge angle (of course no micro bevel). To be clear - it is about edge angle, not about apex radius (edge sharp/keenness).
Next experiment(mid June), I plan to produce a 4 degrees (single bevel, hence dps is NA). Expecting: 4 degrees conducive to hollow/cave and Wired edge to be much more difficult to mitigate than 6 degrees.
Thoughts on how to produce a burrs/wired-free and non-concave/convex edge are appreciated
* note: sub 8 degrees edge is a novelty/demonstration, thereby practicality/working edge is irrelevant *
