Edge lengths are @ 3 7/8" to 4 3/8", they're @ 5 3/4" from edge to back of the eye.

I worked on my eye drift so if you thought they were a good eye to handle fit before, they're even better now.

Superquenched mild steel, see http://www.cvbg.org/superquench.PDF

18" stained hickory handles, I can replace them with an unfinished handle if you prefer

1, 2, 3 & 4 left to right, let me know which one/s you want.

do you offer the option of getting spare hafts with the purchase of a 'hawk?

if so, how much per haft?

thanks!

i'll need to order another 'hawk and several hafts in the near future... don't want to go play and break the only haft i have at the moment.

How hard does superquenched mild steel get?

If you click on the link in the first post you'll find a good explanation of SUPER QUENCH. Here's part of it:

"as a result
of using "SUPER QUENCH" the
crystal structure of the steel had
shifted 3 degrees from the normal
90 degrees. And apparently this
difference explained the 43+
RockwellC hardness attained with
mild steel in SUPER QUENCH."

Wow Keith , never have I've seen your Hawks sit here this long . Times must be tight but they cannot be that tight . Get on it guys , these are nice , I own one .
