Hello Everyone,

I am selling this beautiful little knife. The fit and finish are high quality, and the steel itself is just awesome. I can't take pictures to do this justice. It is an 800 layer laminate of w2 and low manganese 1075. I clay hardened it, and polished to show hamon and hada (grain structure of pattern welding).

This is a very attractive little piece of subtle damascus.

$200 delivered, in the Con US.

PM me if you are interested.

Kevin

I would like to say that this is an absolutely gorgeous piece of work. The hamon is very prominent and so is the contrast between the layers.

I'm sorry I missed that . I saw it yesterday but was in a rush to get some clerical stuff done. Shoulda known better. Your knives dont' last long.

Thanks, Dr.
I am making a couple more, and will actually be making more for sale in general. I have focused on swords for the last year, and have two art quality almost finished. I need a break and to get back into smaller stuff for a few months.

The few blades I make to sell have gone fast. I think it is because I work so much on the surface treatments with pattern welding and hamons and stuff. The next two coming out, one is monosteel with a vivid hamon, the other is neat pattern welding.

I definitely have to do more of this hamon/hada combo with these steels. This surface appearance is just awesome. I kept this knife an extra day or two just to look at it.

thanks everyone,

Kevin
