Ok so I've been thinking about getting a new high end flipper. I was watching some youtube vids and saw the yuma's, phantom steelworks, and lightfoot fighter, and of course we all know about hinderers. I currently own the 0560, DOC, and an xm18 spanto. The 0560 is basically a perfect fit sizewise. I have big hands and love that handle. The xm is a little small. The DOC is full of issues. So that's kinda where I stand on what I've got now. So based on what I've said please recomend and post some pics of some nice flippers. I'm basically looking for something I can really be proud of, ultra tight tolerances, beautiful, tough, and a good user. I don't care if it costs $1000. Im gonna use it. I'm basically trying to find a grail knife and maybe see and buy some nice mid techs on the way. Please no hinderer suggestions. I will probably buy an xm-24 someday but not now.

That wilson combat is a nice knife. I'd love to grab a division flipper or that 0600 but unfortunately it's illegal to carry in CT. I know there will be a smaller one coming out but at 3.5 inches it's too small. The microtech doc is one knife that I really wanted to be a winner but the one I got was complete shit! Wacky uneven grinds, 100% lockup that was next to impossible to disengage. And quite possibly the worst pocket clip design ever created. They might as well have just placed a screw with the pointy end sticking out of the handle mid grip. Its unfortunate because I really really wanted that one to be nice. And it just wasn't. Anyway keep em coming guys! Don't forget customs! I'd love to see a few nice custom pics.

Check out the newer releases with nice clips. Great big manual flippers in vivid colors too if it pleases you.

have you looked at a Will Moon Mk6 or a Pohan Leu Bluephin?

I've just received a Carbon Fiber/Titanium Liner Brous T4 you would just flip over. Unbelievably easy to flip, it is beefy and super light, and oh-so awesome to hold and behold.

Don't know if the books for the second run are still open
I was on the first and am happily waiting :)

I'll add my bluephin just for variety's sake.

Mine is actually a 3.75 but Pohan offers a 4 inch option like the one seen in the previous post, which is the largest he makes now.

I considered going for the 4" but the 3.75 was already bigger than I needed. I was originally going to get
a 3.5 but bumped it up because the bigger blade looks better IMO.

Olamic cutlery wayfarer is an extremely underrated blade. Brian tighe also has a few 4" models with some neat locking mechanisms. If you want upscale check out GTC or a RJ devastator. If you like overbuilt check out the crusader forge FIFP XL. Good luck in your search!

Man that olamic cutlery wayfarer is a beautiful knife. As is that will moon.

The FIFP is really cool too. I'd love one of those some day. And they win hands down for coolest name

I'm just wondering, all of these are way out of my price range, but why are there no Brad Southard's mentioned yet? Personal preference for other things or do Southard's not fit the bill here?

Look at the Folders Bob Dozier makes.

High end, hand made customs.

May not be a flipper, but very quick to deploy.

Has Bob done any flippers?
