Picked up a Wayfarer at ECCKS this weekend and it is extremely well put together and quite the beast. Pulled out my 0600 for comparisons.

I'm just wondering, all of these are way out of my price range, but why are there no Brad Southard's mentioned yet? Personal preference for other things or do Southard's not fit the bill here?

I think the price level of Southards keep them well out of range for most people, myself included.

That being said, I've heard nothing but the best from a number of different people. It seems his work is unanimously thought of as elite with the likes of Mayo, Marsh, Marlowe, Rexford etc.

Wow that one is especially nice. I love the finish and the skeletonized flipper. Reminds me of a 1911 hammer
