This 4" Hunter is 8" overall made from 1095 high carbon steel, hardened and tempered to 58 rockwell for superior edge holding and ease of sharpening. Billy, Welcome to Bladeforums!! Glad to have you aboard. IMHO that is a very nice design -- clean, flows nicely, and appears to be quite utilitarian. Great value offered.
Until I read that VCM3 had snagged it (nice grab BTW
), I was ready to pull the trigger on it just to see how that guard is made. Sounds mighty intriguing. Hope to see more of your work here.
