Hi Everyone, I'm Joe Allen of Princeton,Indiana. I've been in the knife making business for 30 some years. I still make a few hunters and bowies but of late, I've been learning the slip joint part of our love, and as you can tell, Tony Bose has the most influence in my work. I've trained under Tony and Reese mostly, plus I spent a week with Eugene Shadley, plus calls to many fine craftsmen. I appreciate them all,God Bless them. I believe Slip Joints are my calling as I really enjoy the challenge of trying to perfect each knife. I want to post my own knives sometimes and sell them, so thats what I'm doing now . For sale is one 4 inch Back Pocket in Stag Bone. The steel is S-30-V satin finished and a hardness of 60rc. The flats are 1000 finish. ( normally I hand finish the whole blade except S-30-V). The bolsters are finished to 4000 grit by hand. inside spring is finished to 3000 grit. This knife has Fluted Bolsters and A stainless shield, held in place with Two pins. closed length is 4 3/16" while the open is 7 3/8". As of serial number 100, I started using a bronze bushing in the pivot area, this is #103, three blade positions ,all flush. I'm asking $350.00 check or M.O. Thanks for looking at my knives .Joe

Hey Everyone, Here's three more pictures of my 4 in. Back pocket, the fluted bolsters didn't look straight in the other picture, maybe this might help some. I need to build me an indoor photo tent. I had the plans once, but have lost them ,anyone with the site plans please email me the address. :jerkit:http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/images/smilies/emot-jerkit.gif

Joe,

That's a beautiful knife. I'm trying to cut back on orders, but you're making it really difficult.
