Please tell me that Camillus is coming out with a 4-inch version of the Cuda Maxx (without the robo system and maybe with tip down/tip up possibility) this year.

Hey, we can dream, right?

Would you guys on the forum be interested in a knife like that?

In a modified spear point, not dagger blade. I'd be all over a knife like this like white on rice. I NEED Camillus to come out with this design. :D Pretty, pretty, please!

If I yell loud enough, will producing a 4" version grab the attention of the knife gods????? PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WE BESEECH THEE TO PRODUCE A 4" BLADED VERSION OF THE MAXX, WITH A SPEAR POINT (NOT DAGGER)!!!!! WE WILL OFFER UP SACRIFICES TO YOU FOR THIS KNIFE!!!!!!

I agree, maybe if we get enough names here supporting the idea, someone from Camillus will notice!

Spearpoing (not dagger) or bowie sounds good to me. I don't think Robo would be necessary, since the Dominator (3,5"?) already has one.

I would be also very intersted, but i would prefer a flat ground blade of some sort. Hmmmm....maybe a modified drop point or bowie, making it more utilitarian would make more sense to me.

The Madd Maxx design doesn't need robo-assist since it flips out so quickly and smoothly already.

A spearpoint would be a nice addition to the lineup and a 4" or maybe 3.75" for wider legality's sake would be on my list.

I'm not going to let this thread die this time. The squeaky wheel gets the grease, or is that the squeaky wheel gets replaced....:(

Seriously, fans of the Maxx REALLY want a manual 4" spear point manual in S30V. It would be super useful and easier to carry.

I again offer my supprt to the idea. It's kinda like how they made the BK7, and then the BK5 for where a slightly smaller knife of the same peformance was needed. There are plently of us who cannot carry the Mad Maxx with a 5.5 inch blade, because it's either a bitlarge for us, or illegal.

I agree, the legality issue plus the handier size would make the exellent knife design much more useful for many people. I hope supporters notice this thread and express their opinions. Too bad this forum has been a bit quiet lately.

I googled a link to DDR's custom Madd Maxx with a 4-inch spearpoint blade and anodizied titanium scales. Looks perfect.

That's it baby! I'd pull out my eye teeth for that knife. Well, almost...:D

Guys,
I hear ya...but no "good" news on this project at this time. We have ALLOT of new stuff in the pipeline, but a 4" MAXX isn't one of them.

But wait till you see what we DO have coming;)

Well then, I might be dissapointed if that doesn't mean Camillus is about to come to my house and spend hours developing a knife just for me. But with Camillus, you never know what they are dreaming up next. :)

A CUDA with a 4" blade would be a nice knife and it might even be a nice CUDA, but it would most definitely NOT be a MAXX. The whole point of the MAXX is the large blade. To talk about a 4" CUDA MAXX is an oxymoron.

HEY!!!!! That depends on your perspective..... My dad thinks anything over 3" in blade length is a big knife. :D

And, no, I wasn't expecting Camillus to design a knife just for me. It's just that I've heard TONS of people say to me that they'd be interested in a 4-4.5" version of the MAXX but that 5" is way over the top. I like the 5" OK. I just really wish there was a more useful blade shape (perhaps even smaller) than bowie or dagger blade, available in a commercial version for those of us schmucks that can't lay out $ 525 clams for a custom version. :D :p

I might as well throw my 2 cents into this thread. I to would love to se a 4" CUDA Maxx. I don't care what the blade style is but I would love to see it in S30V.
Good Collecting !
JOCKO

I agree with Nobody on the length issue. Even Darrel Ralph makes Madd Maxx's starting from 3 inches. No oxymoron there, in my opinion.
