  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

4 inch folder recommendations?

^^Good choice. I just got in the mail a 4" Drop point Hogue EX-01, and it is a wonderful knife as well.

I pulled the trigger and ordered the Manix XL S90V... Mostly because ALLHSS commanded me to, and since his username is in all caps, I feel like I need to do what he says.

Ha, well good! That's the intended affect.

No, but seriously I highly doubt that you won't live the manix xl. Especially in s90v. If I ever decided I need an extremely over built beefy knife I will get a manix xl most likely.

I have a Manix XL, Contego, Adamas, Lionsteel SR-1, and others. These are all good choices. I would like to also suggest a Dendra Defender. These are produced by Lionsteel and are in the $160.00 to $180.00 price range. I have one and it is a well built knife.

Manix XL with an S90V blade is a great choice. Enjoy the knife when you get it, and show us some pics.

Spyderco Millie, Southern Grind Bad Monkey, any large knife from Emerson. Manix 2 XL.
There are many more great knives in this range, but those just popped into my head.

Well here it is. Glad I got it when I did because they're gone from the Knifeworks site now. I must have picked up on of the last ones. Taking it camping tonight!

What does peel ply carbon fiber look like through a macro bellows? Glad you asked:

This thing is sweet. Blade is dead center. Time will tell but at this point I couldn't be happier with my decision.

Congrats!

Kudos to you for the hustle to get one of the very last ones and thus avoid secondary market pricing!
