Hello gentlemen I’m new to the forum. I was wanting to to know what company makes a 4 inch folder that’s not located in the people’s republic of California or a sanctuary city.

That said, lots of companies make ~4" bladed folders. I like some bigger models from ZT (e.g. the 0452 series) and Benchmade (e.g. the classic 710). CKF makes some nice big folders, I really like the now-discontinued Milk, for example.

Benchmade Contego 810. Actually carries quite well. Easy to use wearing gloves.

No comment on the fashion statement, state legalities, state politics or state of mind when carrying. You do you.

Username checks out... Spyderco Military is one of the most popular modern folders with a 4" blade. Couldn't tell you if Golden, Colorado is a sanctuary city, nor do I give a damn.

Spyderco Military. All depends what you want to use it for. this is a big folder but light and slim.

Rich

I skipped the Spyderco models in my reply because Golden is basically a suburb of Denver, and Denver is a sanctuary city which OP specified he had a strong preference against.

How does a city's sanctuary status have any bearing on knives produced by private companies residing in or around said city?

Damn I love that movie.

If you can dodge a wrench, you can dodge a ball...

There’s a lot of great Chinese knives. Somehow I’m guessing that won’t fly even though I don’t think China does sanctuary anything.

Anyone sittin’ in these seats?

Since price isn’t mentioned, how about a Sebenza? (He says tryin’ to be helpful.)( its almost 4”)

ETA a picture to be even more helpful.

Both awesome knives and around 4" but made in China ... But good qc

It would probably be a shorter list if you asked what company doesn’t make a 4” folder, sanctuary city or not.

Scandinavia, Russia and Southern Europe all make great knives. No idea what a “sanctuary city” is and neither do I care. This is a knife forum, get over yourself.

It's political jargon

Sanctuary city is a term that is applied by some to cities in the United States or Canada that have policies designed to not persecute undocumented immigrants. These practices can be by law (de jure) or they can be by habit (de facto).
