4" ish stainless steel bushcraft/camp/tool

Yes i looked into Fallkniven for a while what held me back was 2 things. 1 i have heard the handles dont last compared mircata expecially if you accidentally hit them while batoning. And 2 the companys warranty. I like buying a knife and knowing that i dont have to buy it or a like one again. If im wrong abiut fallkniven please tell me i think the s1 looks bad. And yes ibhave already purchased a lot of knives from all the topics iv gotten my folder a few medium knives some random cheap ones before them. I am needing two more.... well until i have them.... then it will start again.

A bushcraft knive is something different than a survival knife or camping knife.
Batoning with a stainless steel you should only do if there are really no other options, just because ss is Always brittle. (vulnerable for breaking and chipping)

Although the Falkniven knives are well made and because of the layered structure can handle some abuse. Maybe you buy a smaller bushcraft related knife for bushcrafting/ more delicate tasks, and something else for batoning/camping/hardwork, or . . . . . a foldable saw like a Silky. ( I dont recommend cheap folding saws because they easily break and during breaking can damage your flesh, not nice/wise in a remote area!!

When looking to the size of Falkniven F1 also have a look to the H1.

Yes ibhave moras and esee and buck and more just like to keep going and no i am not planning anymore HC 1095 steels. Its not very strong and does not stay sharp. I would rather a knive that stays sharp long then an easily sharpened with a rock knife.

Other than the Mora listed above, none of the knives recommended are for Bushcraft. The Bravo might make a fare camp knife but isn't even close to what is required for Bushcraft.

I hate to disillusion you but…

Humans have been crafting what they needed from the bush for hundreds of thousands of years.

Yes, even before the British invented the bushcraft knife.

Even before the Hittites invented the iron knife.

Sorry about that.

I'm in FL too.

Fallkniven F1 and Bark river Bravo 1 in S35vn are my choices. On a budget its hands down a Mora Companion.
